Sprinkles Cupcake Mix

I was at the Williams-Sonoma store in Reno today and bought this cupcake mix from Sprinkles - the famous cupcake shop in Beverly Hills.  Inside the package, you'll find the signature confectioner's "dots" that adorn all Sprinkles cupcakes. The mixes come in many flavors:  red velvet, lemon, vanilla, banana and dark chocolate.  Also included is a recipe for a cream cheese frosting that perfectly complements the cupcakes....but you can always use my cream cheese frosting recipe!   The mix makes a dozen cupcakes and that's a bit pricey at $14.00, but for a special occasion you should give it a try.
