Bats & Cupcakes

We have a family of bats that return to our house every year. Sometimes they nest in places that we don't really want them to....like the eaves of the house (very noisy!).  Last year we put steel wool in as many cracks as we could to discourage bat placement in certain areas.  However, bats will be bats and they found a way in. 

Next year we will put up bat houses.  We welcome the bats to our mountain...just not where they have chosen to park for the summer.  I know bats are usually only seen on cupcakes at Halloween, but I want to salute our bats for being diligent despite our efforts to move them to another location.
