Carpe Cupcakes!: Button Cupcakes

When I was a little girl, my grandmother had an old treadle sewing machine. One of the drawers was full of buttons collected over decades and I spent hours sitting on the floor picking through those old buttons while she sewed.

I don't know what happened to them but the designs on those old buttons are burned into my memory and they popped into my head today for no apparent reason. I started to think about cupcakes decorated with buttons!
