Recipe of the Week - Black Forest Cupcakes

One of my favorite desserts this time of year is Black Forest Cake.  The first time I had this cake was about 20 years ago when a friend of mine had a Christmas party and ordered one from a local bakery to have for dessert.  It was fabulous (and incredibly expensive as I remember).  I thought it was the most decadent and delicious thing I had ever tasted.

Luckily, you can make Black Forest cupcakes without spending a fortune.  This week's recipe is from Sunny Anderson of the Food on the photo to get the recipe.

P.S.  I like to fill the cupcakes with cherry pie filling instead of putting the cherry on top!
