Day Lily Cupcakes
The day lilies in my yard are in full bloom...so what better place to showcase them than on some cupcakes! I made buttermilk white cupcakes and vanilla buttercream, which I colored yellow to match the inside of the petals. I also added some lemon zest to the buttercream which gives it a subtle lemon flavor.
I took this picture outside on the deck and my dog Summit came very close to having a cupcake during the photo shoot! Which one did he lick? My lips are sealed.
